Today is a day full of wedding plans.. I should write a book!!

I am going to the church to measure out the dimensions of the fellowship hall for the reception. Then I am going to go to the copy store to get my invitations printed. Then, once I get home I am going to work on the guest list and update my wedding website. I still have to set aside blocks of hotel rooms for out of town guests and get information to all the outta-towners. I picked up our wedding bands yesterday.. it was really strange trying them on... I have my first dress fitting at the end of this month. I can hardly wait to see the finished product.

Reminder to me: Things to do still - 1. Shop for favors and decorations. 2. Buy gifts for groomsmen and bridesmaids. 3. Get addresses for all people invited to the wedding. 4. Check into renting circular tables that fit 8 people. We need 3.

That's it.. pretty boring stuff.. bye!!

Ok.. you all have suckered me in.. I was refusing to write down all my thoughts and now I am going against my will and doing just the opposite.

It's been a while since I wrote anything..

Only 81 days to go until I become Mrs. David Martinez! I'm going bananas trying to get everything done. Buying and picking out flowers, the DJ, getting all my sisters fitted for there dresses, getting me fitted so my dress looks perfect.. so much to do and no time left. David and I picked out our wedding bands yesterday. Pretty plain, but special none the less.  And if planning our wedding wasn't enough, my sister is still pregnant! We all thought she would be here around Christmas, but it looks like Hannah should be coming any day now.. I've planned a shower for Emily with my Mom for Sunday the 8th. Hopefully she doesn't decide to come into the world on that day!

I hope everyone had a fabulous New Years! Mine was pretty boring.. I will make it my New Year's resolution to have more fun next year... a party maybe?

So I'm now officially engaged!! David asked me to marry him on Easter Sunday.. It was so special! He stood up during the prayer request time at church and walked up the stage steps to the choir loft where I was sitting and got down on one knee. I cried.. :)

I'm so excited! I've been planning like crazy ever since he asked -- okay, and maybe even before that. More to come! - "Apee"
